How the emi calculator works

EMI = P × r × (1+r)ⁿ ÷ ((1+r)ⁿ − 1), where r = annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100 and n = months

Example calculation

₹10,00,000 at 9% for 5 years: EMI ≈ ₹20,758; total interest ≈ ₹2,45,501.
